DMSc, professor, head of the Laboratory for Clinical Bacteriology, Mycology and Antimicrobial Therapy of the National Hematology Research Center, Ministry of Health of Russia.

Scientific interests: diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious complications in patients with blood cancers.

Dr. Klyasova has authored more than 300 scientific papers in Russian and international journals, 140 of them were published in the last 5 years. Her h-index per the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI) is 25, per Scopus – 14; number of citations per PSCI is 3310, per Scopus – 1376 (April 2019).

Dr. Klyasova participates in the expert conference European Conference on Infections in Leukemia (in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017) and is a co-author of the international guidelines on empiric and antimicrobial therapy of infections in patients with febrile neutropenia. She heads the infectious diseases branch at the National Hematology Society of Russia. Dr. Klyasova is a member of the editorial board of the Hematology and Transfusiology journal and the executive committee of the Alliance of Clinical Chemotherapists and Microbiologists. She has supervised 12 PhD theses.
